Obsolete Material Planner

About the role

The Obsolete Material Planner will manage material planning and inventory performance for PDC manufacturing lines, ensuring smooth transitions from old to new products while minimizing production impact. This role supports high‑tempo, complex semiconductor environments and works closely with multiple internal functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support material aspects of pre‑mature (NPI) product operations and ensure on‑time delivery to first tools on the production floor.
• Define and maintain optimal material infrastructures, including MRP BOM, safety stock, and inventory levels.
• Provide obsolete‑management solutions, lead task forces, and ensure zero production stoppages caused by obsoletes.
• Manage line inventory, safety stock, E&Z recovery plans, and long‑term reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate engineering changes (ECOs) cost‑effectively and monitor material responsiveness to meet KPI targets.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sourcing, quality, engineering, and assembly to achieve 100% on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• B.S.C in Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operational planning or material management.
• Proven ability to lead complex interfaces without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent English communication, both spoken and written.
