New Product Manufacturing Engineer (NPME)

About the role

As a New Product Manufacturing Engineer you will act as the mechanical and system expert for product builds, providing technical escalation support and ensuring manufacturing readiness for new semiconductor products.

Key responsibilities

• Engage early with R&D and Quality to validate design requirements and maturity.
• Identify and resolve NPI DFx issues, driving solutions before shipment.
• Ensure NPI manufacturing readiness by collaborating with IMO, SMEs, and field teams.
• Lead top‑level technical escalations during the build phase.
• Develop and document Best‑Known Methods, utilities, jigs, and support tools.
• Manage build certification programs and technical training for Flex Build employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a multidisciplinary industry.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as Inventor, SolidWorks, and TeamCenter.
• Experience using Office applications, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
• High‑level written and spoken English.
