New Product Introduction Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) & Production Engineer to lead the transition of UAV products from development to full‑scale production. You will guide products from concept through prototype, qualification, and serial production while ensuring configuration control and meeting productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI processes from prototype to serial production.
• Collaborate with R&D, Design, and System Engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Serviceability.
• Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Support tooling design, test equipment, and production line setup.
• Conduct process validation, first‑article inspections (FAI), and root‑cause analysis.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and ensure smooth implementation.
• Work with suppliers to guarantee component quality and availability.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and embedded UAV systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or practical engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of NPI or Production engineering experience, preferably in UAV, aerospace, or defence.
• Hands‑on experience with UAV systems, drones, or aerospace assemblies.
• Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring/harnessing, and system integration.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
