Mechanical Engineer

About the role

DEGEL.US Ltd. is seeking a full‑time Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and test mechanical components for defense and commercial applications. The role is on‑site and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing and integration teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed mechanical drawings using CAD tools.
• Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance and stress analyses.
• Support prototype builds and oversee integration and verification activities at customer sites and partner facilities.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and specifications.
• Provide engineering support during installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing partners and customers to ensure compliance with technical, quality and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical design background with 3D CAD proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
• Experience in mechanical systems development, material selection, manufacturing methods and assembly processes.
• Ability to conduct basic engineering calculations, stress analysis and design verification.
• Familiarity with industry standards and quality processes; experience with ISO‑9001 is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Experience in defense or high‑reliability industries is advantageous.
