Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established industrial technology company in the Be’er Sheva area. This hands‑on position blends mechanical design with real‑world manufacturing, supporting production, improving existing products, and moving new developments into full‑scale production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site engineering support to the production floor and resolve technical issues in real time.
• Investigate failures, determine root causes, and implement engineering improvements.
• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Lead product transfer from development to production (NPI) and define optimal manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, manufacturers, and suppliers locally and abroad.
• Support assembly, integration, and process stabilization initiatives, including cost‑reduction projects.
• Perform strength and tolerance calculations.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of proven mechanical design experience in a development or manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong computer proficiency.
