About the role
Amarel Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its team and contribute to a critical defence project. You will be responsible for turning concepts into reliable mechanical systems, supporting the full product lifecycle from prototype to production.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee prototype manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and execute design modifications.
- Design and develop custom fixtures and mechanical assemblies.
- Collaborate with clients and perform engineering analyses and simulations.
Required profile
- Mechanical Engineer with at least 2 years of experience, or a practical mechanical engineer with at least 5 years in mechanical design.
- Proven experience in designing and transitioning mechanical assemblies or integrated mech‑electronic systems to production.
- Proficiency in CAD software – CREO and/or SOLIDWORKS (experience with both is a plus).
- Experience with large‑scale data management systems (PLM) or equivalent.
