Machinist (Lathe/Milling) – Maintenance Team

About the role

SodaStream is looking for an experienced Machinist specialized in lathe and milling operations to join the maintenance team at its metal plant. The position is a full‑time morning shift (07:00‑16:30) focused on supporting production equipment and ensuring plant reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conventional turning and milling tasks according to project specifications and technical drawings.
• Maintain and repair plant machinery, following detailed work plans.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team leader and assist colleagues when needed.
• Execute physical work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Participate in overtime as required to meet production deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in lathe (turning) operations.
• Willingness to work onsite, perform physical tasks, and follow safety procedures.
• Team‑player attitude with the ability to support the broader maintenance crew.

Required skills

• Conventional turning and milling proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience manufacturing parts on lathes.
• Familiarity with a variety of metal types.
