Logistics Specialist I

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support logistics operations for clinical trials, pharmaceutical products, and scientific equipment. You will coordinate shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain smooth supply‑chain flow within a temperature‑controlled warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick raw materials and prepare them for production lines according to manufacturing requirements.
• Receive goods from suppliers, perform required inspections, record receipt in ERP, and transfer samples to Quality Control.
• Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for export shipments.
• Operate ERP and computerized warehouse/inventory management systems on a daily basis.
• Operate a forklift for material handling, storage, and internal transportation.
• Organise and store inventory in a batch‑managed warehouse while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a computerized warehouse is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly valued.
• Valid forklift operator’s licence is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work extensively with digital systems.
• High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work in a temperature‑controlled warehouse while meeting quality and safety standards.
