Lead Structural Engineer - Bridge

About the role

Fehr Graham is seeking a proactive Lead Structural Engineer to drive bridge inspection and design projects. You will lead a growing structural engineering team, shaping the firm’s expansion into new markets while delivering innovative bridge solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bridge inspection and design services for a variety of projects.
• Actively lead, develop, and mentor the structural engineering team.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with the Transportation team on multidisciplinary projects.
• Ensure designs comply with Department of Transportation standards and local codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7–11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
