Junior Social Media Manager – EU Outreach Project

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Social Media Manager to support the EU’s communication outreach on policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role is part of a short‑term, on‑demand pool of experts that will be mobilised over a 36‑month project period.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update institutional social media accounts across multiple platforms.
• Create, schedule and publish engaging content that aligns with the project’s communication strategy.
• Support digital communication campaigns and online engagement activities.
• Monitor performance, generate analytics reports and advise on optimisation.
• Engage with online communities and assist audience‑outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate with communication teams, graphic designers and AV specialists to produce high‑quality digital assets.
• Track social media trends and identify opportunities for increased engagement.
• Ensure all content complies with EU branding and editorial guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in communication, digital media or a related field.
• Fluent English; French and/or Arabic are an asset.
• At least 2 years of general experience in digital communication.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing institutional social media accounts.
