Junior Quality Assurance Specialist – Nutrition

About the role

The Abbott Nutrition division in Tel Aviv is looking for a motivated Junior Quality Assurance Specialist to perform routine QA tasks and continuously improve the Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Register and manage customer and HCP complaints in Trackwise, ensuring compliance with division timelines.
• Oversee the batch release process for Abbott Nutrition products in line with global and local policies and regulations.
• Review and manage invoice checks related to batch release activities.
• Support affiliate training management together with the QA Supervisor/Manager.
• Manage document control processes, including change requests, SME edits, routing for approval and periodic reviews.
• Review and evaluate supplier quality activities such as qualification, performance monitoring, audits and SCAR closures.
• Assist with inspection and audit readiness activities for the affiliate.
• Prepare management review presentations in collaboration with the QA Supervisor/Manager.
• Monitor non‑conformance initiation, conduct root‑cause analysis and oversee CAPA implementation and effectiveness tracking.
• Contribute to on‑market events and product actions presentations.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related role.
• Solid knowledge of Quality Systems and GxP standards.
• Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent professional experience.
• Self‑motivated, driven and eager to learn.
• Strong analytical, information‑gathering and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Hebrew and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using the Trackwise complaint management system.
