IT System Team Lead

About the role

Cato Networks is looking for a hands‑on System Team Leader to drive operational excellence across its global IT infrastructure. You will lead a team of System Administrators, ensure reliable delivery of IT services, and align operations with security, compliance and SLA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the workload and professional development of System Administrators.
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT services in corporate and R&D lab environments.
• Manage cloud applications and services such as Microsoft 365, Intune, AWS, Azure and endpoint security solutions.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of incidents and projects, ensuring timely escalation, stakeholder communication and completion.
• Identify operational gaps, anticipate risks and drive improvements to prevent recurring issues.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, utilization and QoS.
• Maintain compliance with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Improve efficiency through scripting, APIs, workflow automation and AI‑assisted IT operations.

Required profile

• At least five years of System Administration experience, including three years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with routing, switching, firewalls and VPN solutions.
• Demonstrated experience managing hybrid‑cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to automate IT operations using Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Availability for on‑call duty and urgent response outside regular hours.
