IT Support Specialist – Front‑line User Support

About the role

The IT Support Specialist provides front‑line user assistance, troubleshoots complex technical issues, and helps maintain a diverse IT environment using advanced organizational technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 1 support and, when needed, handle escalated Tier 2 incidents.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking problems.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain end‑user devices, including image deployment.
• Support Windows workstations, meeting‑room equipment, and basic server, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure high‑quality, service‑oriented support.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of front‑line (Tier 1) IT support experience; Tier 2 experience is a plus.
• Basic networking knowledge (Layer 2/3, IP addressing, subnet mask, MAC address).
• Strong hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems (Linux knowledge is an advantage).
• Familiarity with servers and virtualization, especially VMware.
• Experience supporting meeting‑room equipment.
• Fast learner with strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
