Infrastructure Software Engineer

About the role

We are building an agentic AI platform that helps enterprises turn complex workflows into AI‑powered operations. As a well‑funded early‑stage startup, we need a talented Backend Engineer specializing in infrastructure to join our founding team and own the systems that run autonomous AI agents at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own the core infrastructure powering our AI agent platform, including data pipelines and production deployment systems.
• Architect and deploy scalable, reliable, cost‑efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Own containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes for all production workloads.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable fast, safe releases.
• Implement authentication, authorization (OAuth2, JWT) and ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA and other data‑privacy standards.
• Build observability, monitoring and optimization systems to track health, performance and cost.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering, preferably supporting production AI/ML systems or high‑throughput data pipelines.
• Proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL/Vector databases.
• Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Containerization and orchestration expertise (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Security fundamentals: OAuth2, JWT, secure distributed system design.
