Import & Export Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Team Leader to oversee all international trade and logistics activities. The role ensures smooth end‑to‑end import and export processes, from container handling to customs clearance, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Import, Export & Transportation team.
• Own the full import & export cycle, including container logistics and customs documentation.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with customs, regulatory and safety standards.
• Manage shipping documentation such as invoices, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
• Optimize logistics processes, timelines and costs.
• Handle exceptions, delays and operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Procurement, Production, Warehousing, Planning and Finance.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in import & export management (mandatory).
• High level of English proficiency (mandatory).
• Proven knowledge of international freight, customs regulations and compliance.
• Experience leading or managing a logistics team is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
