Import & Export Coordinator

About the role

Alexander Schneider Ltd. is seeking an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join its Supply Chain team at the headquarters in Netanya. The role involves managing end‑to‑end international logistics operations while ensuring compliance with Israeli customs regulations and import/export requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete import and export process from purchase order through final delivery.
• Coordinate international shipments via ocean freight, air freight, and courier services.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping and customs documentation.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and international suppliers.
• Handle import permits and regulatory approvals with Israeli government authorities.
• Monitor shipments, resolve logistics and documentation issues, and provide proactive updates.
• Maintain accurate records in the company's ERP system.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Sales, and external customers to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in import and export operations, preferably in electronics, electrical, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and courier shipping.
• Solid understanding of Israeli customs regulations, HS classification, and international trade compliance.
• Experience working with Israeli government authorities such as the Standards Institution of Israel, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Communications, API, and MASLOL+.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and customer‑service skills.
• High level of written and spoken English.
