General & Spare Parts Buyer

About the role

We are looking for a General & Spare Parts Buyer to support Vishay’s manufacturing sites in Israel. The role will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of components for our automotive, industrial and other high‑tech product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and develop local and global suppliers, identifying alternative supply options.
• Lead negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms while maintaining quality and continuity.
• Act as the primary purchasing interface for factory stakeholders including production, planning, warehouse and engineering.
• Manage supplier communications, price quotations, invoice approvals and ongoing relationships.
• Issue and track purchase orders, coordinate logistics and resolve supply‑chain issues throughout the PO lifecycle.
• Travel to plant sites in Dimona, Beer Sheva and Migdal Haemek as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, industrial engineering, economics).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing role.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and detail‑oriented mindset.
