Firmware Architect – Network Adapter Firmware

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a seasoned Firmware Architect to lead the design of next‑generation network adapter firmware. Based in Yokneam, you will join a high‑impact technical leadership team that defines the architecture for AI, cloud, HPC, storage and automotive platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, software and system architecture groups to create end‑to‑end networking solutions.
• Define and evolve the firmware architecture for new NIC products and feature sets.
• Lead design and implementation of strategic technologies such as functional safety, security and advanced networking capabilities.
• Mentor R&D engineers throughout the architecture, design and implementation phases.
• Drive technical direction across multiple teams, ensuring scalability, maintainability and high quality.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of firmware or embedded software development.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership role (lead, architect or manager).
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
