FinCrime Analyst

About the role

The Financial Crime team at Revolut is looking for a FinCrime Analyst to manage enhanced due‑diligence processes for cybersecurity activities. You will investigate fraud incidents, work closely with affected customers, and ensure timely resolution and reporting of fraud cases. The role supports 24/7 coverage and may include night and weekend shifts, which are fully compensated.

Key responsibilities

• Detect and report suspicious activity, including potential fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing.
• Identify and analyse alerts generated by monitoring systems to investigate unusual or potentially fraudulent activity.
• Conduct risk‑based assessments and financial‑crime investigations in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assess cases of account takeover, authorised push payment (APP), first‑party fraud, or mule activity.
• Escalate red flags, emerging risks, and complex cases to relevant escalation teams with clear supporting evidence.
• Contact external partners and financial institutions to support fraud investigations and attempt recovery of funds.
• Decide on refund eligibility for confirmed fraud victims based on investigation findings and internal policies.
• Analyse previous cases and conduct deep‑dive investigations to identify fraud trends, red flags, and process‑improvement opportunities.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to the development of fraud investigation procedures and team knowledge.
• Handle sensitive customer and financial information with the highest level of confidentiality while ensuring investigations are clearly documented.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (certificate must be provided).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial crime, fraud prevention, or related FinCrime roles.
• Fluency in English.
