Finance Manager

About the role

We are a leading global Chinese automotive brand expanding in Israel and are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead our local financial operations. The role bridges global headquarters standards with Israeli statutory requirements, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes and prepare statutory financial statements in line with Israeli GAAP and group policies.
• Oversee all local tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax) and ensure compliance with Israeli tax laws and transfer‑pricing rules.
• Direct treasury activities, including bank account management, cash‑flow monitoring, foreign‑exchange risk handling, and salary/vendor disbursements.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor operational expenses, analyse variances and provide cost‑control recommendations.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate external auditors, tax advisors and internal audit teams for statutory audits.
• Act as the primary finance liaison between the local team, Chery headquarters, tax authorities and banking partners.

Required profile

• Valid Israeli permanent residency or full legal work authorization.
• Fluent Hebrew and professional English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; CPA certification preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial management, corporate accounting or tax advisory, preferably in a Big 4 or international automotive environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel and financial‑modeling capabilities.
