Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician provides ongoing support for the plant’s electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and maximum equipment uptime. Working under the supervision of the Site Electrical Engineer, the technician handles preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and documentation in a 24/7 industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine inspections on Extra High Voltage (HV), High Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) equipment, control systems, HVAC, and fire detection & suppression systems.
• Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime.
• Create and manage work orders in the plant’s CMMS, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Supervise third‑party contractors, ensuring compliance with company protocols and engineering standards.
• Strictly follow Lock‑Out Tag‑Out (LOTO) procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for every task.

Required profile

• Valid Certified Electrician License (Senior Electrician License is a strong advantage).
• High Voltage (HV) License is a major plus.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in power plants or process industries.
• Native‑level Hebrew and good English for reading technical documents.
• Availability for 24/7 on‑call duties, weekends, holidays, and home‑based standby rotation.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance of HV, MV, LV equipment.
• Control systems, HVAC, and fire detection & suppression systems.
• Interpretation of complex electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with CMMS (maintenance software) and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures and proper PPE usage.
