E-Commerce & Market Research Specialist – Shopify & Marketplaces

About the role

We are looking for an experienced E‑Commerce & Market Research Specialist to drive international growth for a fast‑growing B2C cosmetics and fragrance brand. You will work directly with the business owner, handling research, strategy, execution and reporting across Shopify and marketplace channels.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market and competitor research to identify high‑potential markets in Europe, the Middle East and other regions.
• Evaluate the current product catalog and recommend additions, removals or repositioning based on demand and competition.
• Manage and optimise product listings on Shopify and eBay to maximise visibility and conversion rates.
• Develop and execute traffic‑generation strategies for the e‑commerce storefront.
• Provide regular reports with market insights, actionable recommendations and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in e‑commerce operations, especially with Shopify and online marketplaces such as eBay.
• Strong understanding of market‑research methodologies and competitive analysis for consumer goods.
• Familiarity with European and/or Middle‑Eastern e‑commerce landscapes.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for clear reporting.
