Director of Finance

About the role

Chamelio is seeking a seasoned Director of Finance to design its reporting environment, build the accounting function from scratch, and establish robust reporting standards to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the accounting infrastructure, including selection and implementation of ERP/reporting, billing, and collection systems.
• Lead the monthly financial close for GAAP and non‑GAAP reporting, ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Manage quarterly and annual statutory reporting across entities, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee outsourced finance providers (bookkeeping, payroll, accounting), handling vendor relationships and service quality.
• Prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports, variance analysis, and track departmental spend.
• Track and analyze accruals, prepaid expenses, AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and day‑to‑day cash operations.
• Establish internal controls, segregation of duties, and maintain supporting working papers.

Required profile

• CPA qualification from a Big 4 accounting firm with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience as a controller or finance director, preferably in a high‑growth SaaS or global technology company.
• Hands‑on experience building finance processes and implementing reporting/ERP systems.
• Experience managing outsourced finance providers such as bookkeeping, payroll, and audit services.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and strong attention to detail.
