Director of Finance and Compliance

About the role

Anchor is building an AI‑first fintech platform that automates billing and collections. We are looking for a hands‑on Director of Finance & Compliance to own the financial backbone, drive AI‑enabled processes, and ensure regulatory compliance as we scale rapidly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll and reconciliations through an external firm.
• Build and maintain AI‑generated financial reporting pipelines for monthly, quarterly and annual results.
• Lead U.S. and Israeli tax compliance and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
• Direct FP&A using AI‑driven forecasting, scenario modeling and cash‑flow management.
• Manage treasury functions, capital allocation, revenue recognition and expense categorization with automated alerts.
• Drive board and investor reporting, KPI dashboards and investor updates.
• Own payment‑compliance programs (KYB/KYC, transaction monitoring, financial‑crime risk) and scale them without adding headcount.
• Continuously audit workflows and replace manual steps with AI solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance operations in fast‑scaling fintech or SaaS companies.
• Deep technical aptitude; comfortable configuring and adopting AI and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Israeli tax and regulatory frameworks.
• Startup speed combined with public‑company rigor.
• Ability to work directly with the CFO and influence cross‑functional teams.
