DevOps Infra/Cloud Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a DevOps Infra/Cloud Engineer to design, develop and support moderately complex infrastructure solutions for both on‑premises and cloud environments, helping deliver cutting‑edge semiconductor and display equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation components on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Support containerized applications, including Docker deployment workflows and basic troubleshooting.
• Provision, configure and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment and system integration issues and create technical documentation.
• Collaborate with software engineers, IT and DevOps teams to ensure stable application integration and deployment schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket) on Linux/Windows.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud or virtualized environments such as AWS, Azure or VMware.
