DevOps Engineer – Multi‑Cloud & Kubernetes

About the role

Buildots is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the multi‑cloud infrastructure that powers its AI‑driven construction intelligence platform. You will work with a modern Kubernetes‑based stack and have direct influence on architecture, deployment, and operations across AWS and GCP.

Key responsibilities

• Design, scale, and operate high‑availability, multi‑region production infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Manage and enhance the Kubernetes platform (EKS) using GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and Helm.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) that enable safe, automated deployments for dozens of engineers.
• Implement observability (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting) with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and related tools.
• Collaborate on security, identity‑access management, compliance and cloud‑cost optimization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production cloud experience, preferably in multi‑cloud (AWS/GCP) environments.
• Proven track record of operating large‑scale distributed systems and working closely with developers, ML engineers and cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) and GitOps workflows.
• AI‑native mindset: using LLM‑based tools to automate diagnostics, runbooks and infrastructure workflows.
