DevOps Engineer

About the role

Scytale is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to join its R&D team and help scale its Compliance‑as‑a‑Service platform. You will design, implement, and maintain a secure, resilient cloud environment that powers SaaS customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate scalable AWS infrastructure with a focus on cost‑efficiency, security, and high availability.
• Administer and optimise Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, Docker containers, and related networking.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and automate provisioning workflows.
• Lead disaster‑recovery planning, backup strategies, and overall infrastructure reliability.
• Manage and tune Snowflake and MongoDB databases for performance and security.
• Set up observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and monitor system health.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS services (EKS, EC2, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM).
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced startup.
