Cook – Full‑time Kitchen Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at a premier hotel in Tel Aviv. The successful candidate will work full‑time preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food‑preparation checklists.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Test foods for doneness and monitor food quality throughout preparation.
• Prepare cold foods and assemble plated dishes in proper portions.
• Set up and break down work stations, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen environment.
• Check and ensure correct temperatures of appliances and food items.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies, reporting any issues promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen experience.
• Valid Israeli ID or work permit.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Food preparation techniques (portioning, chopping, mixing).
• Food safety and sanitation practices.
