Construction Project / Program Manager

About the role

The Construction Project / Program Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of construction and facility infrastructure projects. This role ensures safety, quality, and operational excellence while aligning projects with business objectives, technical requirements, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Define project scope, objectives, budgets, schedules and resource requirements.
• Lead construction activities from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage relationships with general contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute contracting and procurement strategies.
• Monitor performance, budget, schedule, risks and quality, applying corrective actions as needed.
• Review civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical designs for alignment with project goals.
• Oversee change control, site planning, infrastructure requirements and construction documentation.
• Drive issue resolution through root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Establish governance, reporting mechanisms and performance indicators.
• Communicate status, milestones, risks and impacts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure successful commissioning, operational readiness and project closeout.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, civil engineering, industrial or management engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in construction project and program management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contractor management and delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Advanced skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control.
• Experience with risk management and change management.
