Automotive Engineer

About the role

The Land Systems Plant in the ELTA Division is looking for an Automotive Engineer to lead mechanical design activities for vehicle projects. You will develop engineering solutions, integrate vehicle modifications, and support both Israeli Ministry of Defense and international customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering design activities for automotive projects.
• Develop detailed engineering designs for vehicles and related systems.
• Design and integrate vehicle modifications and automotive system upgrades.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers in Israel and abroad.
• Coordinate with the Israeli Ministry of Defense and international customers to meet requirements.
• Provide engineering support for customer specifications and technical issues.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Knowledge of structural strength analysis and dynamic simulations (advantage).
• Experience in automotive design and vehicle assemblies (advantage).
• Familiarity with manufacturing methods and processes (advantage).
• Experience with information/data management software (TCE) (advantage).
