Associate Software Engineer

About the role

Cellebrite is seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join its Exploit Engineering Team. This early‑career position offers hands‑on experience building smartphone extraction capabilities while working closely with senior engineers on cybersecurity challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to improve product accuracy, reliability, and quality.
• Develop, automate, and test smartphone extraction features.
• Assist exploit engineers with iOS vulnerability research and exploit development.
• Write clean, test‑covered code in at least one primary language.
• Apply basic computer‑science, software‑engineering, and cloud concepts daily.
• Follow established development processes and CI workflows.
• Participate in team discussions, break down technical problems, and seek mentorship.
• Experiment with GenAI‑assisted tools to boost productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Objective‑C, C, or C++ is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Bonus: experience in reverse engineering.
