Assistant Controller – Finance Team

About the role

Factory 54, a leading luxury fashion and lifestyle retailer, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its Finance team. You will support the Group Controller in managing the financial closing, reporting, and control processes across the company’s subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidation schedules and assist in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Monitor the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Work closely with external auditors throughout the audit process.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly reports for government authorities and banks as required.
• Prepare tax reports for the Group’s companies.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
• Assist the Group Controller with day‑to‑day financial and accounting activities.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 2 years of post‑internship experience.
• Background in a Big Four accounting firm; retail sector experience is a plus.
• Experience with both public and private companies.
• Proven ability to prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
