ASIC Chief Architect – Hod HaSharon

About the role

Qualcomm Israel is looking for an experienced ASIC Chief Architect to lead the definition and delivery of next‑generation System‑on‑Chip (SoC) and ASIC platforms for high‑performance compute, 6G communications, AI, networking, and embedded systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end architecture of complex ASIC/SoC products from concept through production.
• Lead system architecture across compute, memory, networking, security, and acceleration subsystems.
• Make architectural decisions on DSP, CPU, GPU, AI/ML accelerators, packet processing, memory hierarchy, NoC, and high‑speed interfaces.
• Develop performance, power, area, and cost optimization strategies.
• Drive hardware/software co‑design, modeling, simulation, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with ASIC design, verification, physical design, firmware, and software teams.
• Define technology roadmaps and mentor architecture teams.

Required profile

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in semiconductor, ASIC, SoC, or processor architecture.
• Proven track record leading architecture and development of complex silicon products.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
