Accounting Responsible – Supplier Payments & Reconciliations

About the role

Brenntag Israel is seeking an experienced Accounting Responsible to lead supplier payment processing, reconciliations and regulatory reporting. The role is based in Beer Yakov, Tel Aviv and requires a detail‑oriented finance professional with at least 15 years of hands‑on accounting experience.

Key responsibilities

• Record, review and process supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
• Execute domestic and international supplier payments in line with company policies and deadlines.
• Manage overseas supplier payments and related documentation.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and variance investigations.
• Conduct monthly income and expense analysis by business area for management reporting.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports and statutory filings to government authorities.
• Process payments to regulatory bodies and support annual statutory reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records, support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting, with strong focus on accounts payable and reconciliations.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Hands‑on knowledge of accounts payable, general ledger and bank reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
