Talent Acquisition Partner

About the role

HEMISPHERIC is looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to own end‑to‑end hiring for research and engineering positions. You will build pipelines from scratch for hard‑to‑fill roles and guide candidates from the first outreach to contract signing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a portfolio of technical roles, from intake to final selection.
• Partner with hiring managers at all levels, including founders, to refine job briefs and hiring strategies.
• Source candidates across LinkedIn, GitHub, academic papers, niche communities and any channel that yields talent.
• Screen candidates rigorously, balancing strict role requirements with holistic judgment of fit.
• Maintain candidate experience throughout the process, whether or not a hire is made.
• Operate the ATS, monitor metrics, and run post‑mortems to continuously improve hiring efficiency.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑cycle talent acquisition experience, preferably in a fast‑paced startup or high‑growth environment.
• Proven ability to source and build pipelines for specialized, deep‑tech roles.
• High emotional intelligence and the confidence to push back on hiring managers when needed.
• Strong written and verbal English with a high standard for personal communication.
• Self‑starter mindset with a track record of taking ownership and delivering results.

Required skills

• Expertise in sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, academic databases).
• Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) for data‑driven recruiting.
