Supplier Account Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Supplier Account Manager to lead strategic supplier relationships for its semiconductor and advanced display equipment business. Based in Rehovot, you will act as the primary commercial liaison between the company and key suppliers, ensuring continuity of supply, cost competitiveness, and operational excellence across a global supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive‑level relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations covering contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, capacity, and service agreements.
• Drive supplier performance in quality, cost, delivery, lead‑time and overall business objectives.
• Define and execute sourcing and commodity strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify and onboard new suppliers to support product and technology evolution.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, supply chain and procurement teams to introduce new capabilities.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and manage supplier performance metrics.
• Implement cost‑reduction, consolidation, risk‑mitigation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of experience in supplier account management or strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships in a high‑tech or semiconductor environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain and procurement teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
