Strategic Sourcing Manager – Direct Materials

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Direct Materials to join Novocure’s Global Direct Sourcing team. In this highly visible individual‑contributor position you will own end‑to‑end sourcing for critical direct‑material categories supporting our Tumor Treating Fields products, primarily for the Israel site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across electronic manufacturing services, components, sterilization, engineering services and accessories.
• Develop and execute category strategies that deliver cost optimisation, risk mitigation and supplier diversification.
• Manage the full Source‑to‑Contract (S2C) process for the Israel site, including RFx, negotiations, contract coordination and implementation.
• Partner with Product Development, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance and alignment with business priorities.
• Monitor supplier markets, industry trends and ESG factors to inform sourcing decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience in a regulated industry, preferably MedTech or Life Sciences.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and lead virtual global teams.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of electronic manufacturing services and supplier ecosystems in MedTech.
• Proficiency with SAP and advanced digital sourcing tools.
