Staff Endpoint Software Engineer – Prompt

About the role

As a Staff Backend Software Engineer you will build lightweight security components that power SentinelOne’s Generative AI Security platform. You will develop core sensors and enforcement mechanisms that run across endpoints, browsers and production workloads, delivering real‑time adaptive protection.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously optimize sensor components for minimal system footprint, ensuring high performance, low resource consumption and maximum reliability.
• Contribute to the evolution of AISPM by designing adaptive policy logic, improving decision engines and expanding coverage across platforms.
• Build endpoint security solutions and integrate them with the platform for real‑time threat detection and data protection.
• Collaborate with security engineers, QA and product teams to achieve customer and business goals.
• Stay current with Generative AI and platform security advances, incorporating relevant innovations into agents and extensions.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience developing in Python, Node.js or a comparable language.
• Experience with macOS and Windows endpoint security.
• Strong understanding of operating‑system architecture and internals.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience developing browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) is a plus.
