Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level DevOps leader to design, build and operate highly scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for our next‑generation Open RAN products. The role will drive automation, CI/CD optimisation and AI‑enhanced development across the engineering organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure cloud environments on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments while ensuring quality.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible and related tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and guarantee high availability.
• Collaborate with software engineers to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Define and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code, security and observability.
• Lead AI‑driven initiatives, integrating tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude into the development workflow.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or a comparable role.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible or similar).
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Advanced scripting abilities in Bash, Python or Go.
• Extensive experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices and Linux system administration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and zero‑downtime deployment strategies.
