Software Manager, DOCA Services

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Software Manager to lead the DOCA Networking Data Plane team, delivering industry‑leading virtual switch technology for high‑density AI and external workloads. You will combine people leadership with hands‑on engineering to drive innovative networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of senior engineers, overseeing research, development, and delivery of networking features.
• Mentor and grow team members while staying actively involved in hands‑on engineering of next‑generation virtual switches.
• Leverage the NVIDIA DOCA SDK and SmartNIC architecture to achieve major performance gains while preserving software flexibility.

Required profile

• B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Software Engineering with 8+ years of overall experience.
• 2+ years of team lead or management experience.
• 5+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in Linux environments and tools.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Ethernet networking protocols.
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems.
