Software Engineer II, Mobile iOS

About the role

Google is seeking a Software Engineer II focused on mobile iOS development. In this role you will contribute to building native iOS experiences that drive user engagement across Google products, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications and widgets for Google services.
• Incorporate the latest iOS trends, Swift UI, and platform capabilities into product features.
• Explore new initiatives to increase user engagement and improve product robustness.
• Enhance data analytics pipelines, machine‑learning integration, and experimentation frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX, analysts, and external partners to deliver cohesive user experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with data structures, algorithms, and iOS application development.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
