Software Engineer – Figma Weave

About the role

Figma is expanding its Weave team in Tel Aviv, building AI‑native tools that blend creativity with technology. As a Software Engineer you will help shape the next generation of collaborative design experiences for users ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship high‑quality features across the stack using TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, and related technologies.
• Own critical product components that affect user experience, internal productivity, or revenue operations.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, support, and sales partners to define direction and solve complex problems.
• Operate and monitor the systems you create, emphasizing reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
• Contribute to team culture by mentoring peers, providing feedback, and fostering an inclusive engineering environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping and maintaining complex systems.
• Full‑stack experience with modern front‑end frameworks (e.g., React/TypeScript) and back‑end technologies (e.g., Ruby, Go, Node.js, PostgreSQL).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, demonstrated by effective cross‑functional work.
