Social Media Manager

About the role

Port is looking for a Social Media Manager to shape how the company communicates its vision and engages with the global engineering community. You will own the organic social presence, work closely with Content, Design, Demand Generation, Product Marketing and the CEO office, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, viral narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute a global social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Stack Overflow, YouTube and emerging developer platforms.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to turn "Agentic Engineering" trends into platform‑native content.
• Create and maintain a structured content calendar that delivers a consistent brand voice for developers and CTOs.
• Run social campaigns, including live‑tweeting events, video series launches and product updates.
• Track performance metrics such as engagement, follower growth and social‑to‑site traffic, and report insights.
• Engage proactively in technical discourse, manage online reputation and improve community standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in social media management or community building for a technical B2B SaaS or DevTools company.
• Proven ability to craft technical storytelling that resonates with engineering audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, design and executive teams.
