Site Contract Specialist

About the role

Join a global team supporting leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the delivery of clinical trials worldwide. As a Site Contract Specialist you will be responsible for preparing, negotiating and finalising contracts with study sites, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalise agreements with study sites in line with local and company processes.
• Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within approved parameters.
• Maintain compliance with negotiation authority limits, contractual procedures and client expectations.
• Identify, assess and escalate legal, financial and operational risks.
• Provide recommendations and alternative solutions during contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal functional teams to align site start‑up activities with contractual timelines.
• Achieve target cycle times for site activation and manage escalation of out‑of‑parameter issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• 2‑5 years of experience in contract negotiation, preferably within clinical research or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, business and local tax regulations.
• Ability to apply investigator grant negotiation principles and assess financial implications.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English and the local language.
