Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (TypeScript)

About the role

SailPoint, which defines the next era of identity security, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join its engineering team in Israel. Most of the work focuses on designing, building and scaling high-throughput backend services in TypeScript, with contributions to modern React user interfaces. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, from architectural design and database modeling to frontend integration, automated testing and production deployment. Interviews are held in person.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features independently, from database schema changes to UI components, within 60 days
• Take part in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical design documentation
• Use observability practices to monitor service health, performance metrics and logs in production
• Lead feature delivery from concept through deployment and post-launch verification by day 90
• Improve backend performance, database queries and system reliability
• Partner with product management and engineers on technical requirements and milestones
• By six months, drive initiatives that scale core backend services and improve stack resilience and maintainability
• Mentor junior and mid-level colleagues through pair programming and knowledge sharing
• By one year, act as a subject matter expert for critical backend services and help define technical roadmaps and architectural strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of professional software development experience with TypeScript
• 2+ years of professional software development experience with Go
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying applications on AWS
• Proven experience designing, building and operating distributed systems at high scale
