Senior Product Illustrator & AI Visual Creator

About the role

We are looking for a senior illustrator and visual designer to shape the visual language of monday.com’s product suite. • Build, maintain, and evolve a scalable illustration system used across all monday products.
• Apply AI tools and workflows to generate concepts, balancing low‑fidelity sketches with high‑fidelity illustrations.
• Define how illustration interacts with iconography, photography, and typography, and provide art direction for 2D and 3D visual assets.
• Create illustrations and storyboards that can be animated and serve as a visual bridge between product and brand teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as an illustrator or visual designer with a strong portfolio showing range and a distinct style.
• Solid fundamentals in composition, color, shape language, and visual storytelling.
• Experience designing for digital products, understanding how illustrations behave at different sizes and states.
• Ability to build and document a scalable illustration system, including styles, components, and usage guidelines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with brand, product, and content designers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience using AI‑assisted illustration tools such as Midjourney.
• Familiarity with Weavy or similar AI workflow tools.
