Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

About the role

Hello Heart is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer passionate about building high‑quality products that have a meaningful impact on heart health. You will collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering teams to take concepts from idea to production in an AI‑augmented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable React Native applications used daily by members worldwide.
• Create reusable frontend architecture, components, and engineering patterns to improve development velocity.
• Partner with Data Science teams to integrate predictive algorithms and data‑driven features.
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering throughout discovery, design, implementation, experimentation, and iteration.
• Own projects from technical design through production deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve engineering standards and processes.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience building production‑grade mobile applications.
• Proven expertise in React Native development (mandatory).
• Experience with backend languages such as Scala, Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
