Senior Mechanical Engineer – R&D

About the role

In this role you will lead all mechanical aspects of product development in R&D projects, taking concepts through to full‑scale development. You will work with multidisciplinary teams that include system engineering, physics, electronics, software, project managers and more, serving as the technical focal point for mechanical design decisions while balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design, including 3D models, drawings, prototype manufacturing and production transfer.
• Provide solutions that optimise performance, serviceability, manufacturability and cost.
• Perform analysis, testing, troubleshooting and produce comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to resolve design, service and production challenges.
• Own mechanical risk identification, mitigation plans and conduct design reviews.
• Operate in a multidisciplinary environment under conflicting constraints of performance, reliability, cost and schedule.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for multi‑disciplinary systems or products.
• Experience with CREO / Pro E or equivalent professional CAD systems.
• Experience designing metal components and assemblies, including high‑precision casted and machined parts and tolerance analysis.
• Proven ability to produce high‑standard technical documentation (specifications, design documents, test protocols).
• Demonstrated ability to independently drive technical decisions.
• Highly motivated, self‑driven team player with fluent English.

What we offer

• Base monthly salary range 21,515 – 35,858 ILS.
