Senior Information Security Engineer

About the role

Fireblocks is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to protect its global digital‑asset platform. You will translate security strategy into concrete controls, detections and resilient operations across a high‑velocity, cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and fine‑tune enterprise‑grade security stacks (EDR, DLP, IAM, CASB, MDM) with deep integration and automation.
• Lead AI security initiatives, securing AI‑driven workflows and guarding against data leakage and prompt‑injection threats.
• Design and maintain high‑fidelity detection rules and guardrails aligned with real‑world attack techniques.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT and DevOps to embed friction‑less, automated security controls.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on InfoSec engineering or SecOps experience in fast‑growing, cloud‑native companies.
• Demonstrated expertise in securing AI applications and leveraging AI to scale defenses.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical risks into actionable business insights.
• Proven ability to stay composed and prioritize during high‑stakes security incidents.

Required skills

• Advanced scripting in Python for automation and custom integrations.
• Deep knowledge of endpoint security on macOS and Linux.
• Experience with SaaS security ecosystems and identity platforms such as Okta/OIDC.
• Hands‑on with security technologies: EDR, DLP, IAM, CASB, MDM.
