Senior Cybersecurity Consultant / Architect

About the role

EY Israel’s Advanced Cybersecurity Center is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant / Architect to lead defensive security engagements for strategic clients. You will shape secure architectures across cloud, network, identity and application layers while advising senior stakeholders on risk and remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end defensive cybersecurity consulting engagements, from scoping to executive read‑out, focusing on security architecture.
• Conduct architecture assessments, design reviews and threat‑modeling for cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), network, identity and application environments.
• Evaluate client environments against frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27005 and zero‑trust, identifying gaps and prioritising remediation.
• Advise CISOs and senior leaders on architecture maturity and develop strategic remediation roadmaps.
• Design actionable secure‑by‑design recommendations and oversee their implementation to ensure measurable progress.
• Partner with client teams to embed security into SDLC/DevSecOps and cloud programmes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience across cloud, network and application domains.
• Proven experience delivering architecture reviews, threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business language for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, project‑management and communication skills in English and Hebrew.
